Is it possible to use ISA as just a firewall and not a web proxy. I do not wish to do any web filtering, I would just like to be able to forward all requests through to the ISA server to the Internet router 192.168.3.254. I do not want to configure any clients web proxy settings. I just want to use ISA server as the DG and act as a router would do.
Is this possible?

While it is against my better judgement to advise on your going in that direction, the answer to your question is YES.

Why not setup WPAD instead to ease the WP settings?

well why would you advise against it?
Wouldn't I still need to configure 'auto detect' on clients if i use WPAD?

This thing is, I do not wish to do any kind of outbound traffic blocking, either HTTP or others. I just basically want to have a firewall that will let traffic out but will block all incoming connections except VPN.
How can I do this with ISA?
