Hello, I have an ISA 2006 standard server with a Edge Firewall. Intern: 10.167.97.65 255.255.224.0 Extern: 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 gateway: 192.168.1.154 this is a ADSL router/modem. We have a second ADSL connection but not yet connected to this server, how can i connect this second ADSL to this server. And can a use them both on te same time? I prefer this! Or if one is down use the second one? Thanx

Hi, You can not !! ISA Server in all its versions does not support multiple gateways ( ISPs) you need to install a router infront of ISA, that support multiple multiple gateways. HTH, Tarek

There is a great device that I use for this called the Q-Balancer. It will allow up to 32 ISP's to be connected to it. It is completely invisible to the ISA server and allows you to direct both outgoing requests by rules to different ISP's and using DNS load balancing can give you automatic fallover if one ISP fails. The Web address is www.xrio.com. Regards Sean Johnson

ORIGINAL: elmajdal you need to install a router infront of ISA, that support multiple multiple gateways. HTH, Tarek That is the best way to do it, however.... Depending on what you want to do you can have static routes on ISA to forward to another router which is sitting on another NIC. From what you want to do, get a dual WAN port router such as the 1800's Cisco series.

Just so you know, Xrio's products are now called UBM - Unified Bandwidth Management and have greater capacity, more options and easier configuration. Mark
