I wonder,.. We have the need for two layers of authentication in our network. Herefore we try to implement ISA server in the following setup.

A Downstream ISA/proxy for the branch office using integrated authentication

An Upstream ISA/proxy at the hub running Surfcontrol using also integrated authentication.

When i enable the Authentication on the HUB the client gets random Security popups. When he cancels them sometimes he gets error 12209 (auhentication required) and sometimes the page comes tru. On both ISA servers i see the needed User / Domain information in the sessions list.

We have ISA/SP1 installed.

Why o Why does this not work!
