Hi, I am a newbie to ISA 2004 and have just had an ISA 2004 and PIX 501 tunnel created between two sites (previously a leased line)

I am having an issue with UNIX emulation software on the remote site trying to connect to the UNIX server via the tunnel. The emulation software uses port 23 (Telnet). I have opened the port to allow incoming and outbound traffic from the remote site...but still no joy !

Any ideas ?

Hi J,

What do you see in the ISA firewall's log files when the connection attempts are made?

From the packet traces, where do the traffic stop in both directions?

Thanks!
Tom
