Hi Guys, Hope everyone is well. I got a question for ya. Is it possible to block keywords. I have a block list setup to block url's but what i want to be able to do is block any web link with the word games in it. I have tried adding a few things to my block list http://*.games.* http://*.*games*.* etc.... but this does not seem to work. Working for a school, the students seem to find games sites every single day, After checking what sites have been logged i then add them urls to the blocklist and they get denied. but would be much easier if i could just deny anything with the word games in or porn in, I had this setup in isa server 2004 using the deny blocklist and it seemed to work. any help is much appreciated guys. thanks for your time Chris

Right, I am with it now, So if you search for things it blocks any search by the words added to the sig, though when i type the url of a games site that i know it doesn't block it. Do I have to add urls to the url deny list for that to be blocked or is it possible that when someone types for example: www.garagegames.co.uk it sees the word games in the URL and blocks the site?

yep of course that works. lol posted to soon then. For anyone viewing this post, I set up an allow rule from internal to external, added a group of users to apply this rule too. after creating the rule, you can then right click the rule and click configure http, select the signatures tab and click add, type in a name for the signature select the search criteria request URL and ADD the word you want denied in the specify signature to block. Apply this RULE. you can then open google or any other search engine and type in the word OR type in a url in the address bar with that word in it to see this RULE in ACTION!! BIG THANKS TO elmajdal
