It may have been resolved, but I worked through the logs to get a good set of protocol rules for playing these games via ISA server as the "gateway" (using the firewall client).

I made a protocol definition as follows:

Primary connection:
28902 TCP Outbound

Secondary Connections:
28902 TCP Inbound
7777 UDP Send/Receive
7778 UDP Send/Receive
7878 UDP Send/Receive
7978 UDP Send/Receive
8778 UDP Send/Receive

I then made a Protocol Rule allowing the predefined Protocol Definition, for an internal client set ie. set of PC's that can play the game via ISA "[Big

It seems to work fine, although the ping response through it starts at something like 200 and gradually gets down to around something like 40 up to about 70.
When connected directly via the internet connection it's around a 10 to 30 game ping (no ISA). This may be overhead in ISA? (I dunno! help?).

Maybe someone can clarify this for me ... the whole set of rules as well as the slower game ping response "[Smile]"
