I have ISA 2004 setup. Basically allowing all http traffic out. Our company deals with property brokers a lot and for some reason we cannot access one particular brokers website. ISA comes back with the error

Error Code 11002: Host not found
Background: This error indicates that the gateway could not find an authoritative DNS server for the website you are trying to access.

No problem accessing the site outside the office. I don't have any rules in place that block traffic to anything but a few adult websites.

If you can access other sites without problem, then I would say your DNS server couldn't resolve the name for that particular broker's domain.

1)How do you resolve names in your domain?
2)Where did you configure the IP number for the DNS server? (Internal or External NIC)?
3)What do you get if you type the following in ISA?

C:\>nslookup www.ProblemSiteName.com
Substitute the site name for www.problemsitename.com
