I'm a relative ISA newbie. I was configuring a server in the edge setup. I installed ISA, everything was going great, then one of my changes, somewhere along the line, cut off my ability to browse the internet from the internal network. I'm not sure if it's when I created the web publishing rule, with a web listener on port 80 (did this somehow block incoming HTTP info?) or when I enabled the VPN (did this screw something up?). I've tried paring back my changes, undoing virtually everything I had done, but I still can't get out to the internet (can't even run windows update). Any ideas where I might have gone astray? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good day,

the only thing i can think off is the port that you are attempting to web proxy to should be port 8080 if you are using port 80 cahnge it to port 8080 if this does not work i would backup and remove ISA reboot and reinstall ISA and start again it may safe you some time :)_

Pardon my ignorance, but where do I set the web proxy port?

HA! I fixed it. It was a DNS problem. I just set my settinsg to correspond to this article: http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/DNS_for_ISA_Server.html and it worked great
