Dear All, i need to connect to a CISCO Switch inside our LAN.

our Internet Network Range is 192.168.0.x , and the CISCO Switches are 172.16.0.x .

My clients are Firewall & Web Proxy Clietns ( No Default Gateway ) .

When i have the FWC enabled, i can not connect to the Cisco Switches, but when i disable the FWC , i can connect to the CISCO Switches.

How can i connect to the cisco switches without disabling the FWC.

How are you connecting telnet, ssh, http?  Do you have the appropriate rule to allow your workstation to the switch for whatever one of these protocols you are using?

Have you looked at the ISA monitor and monitored your workstation live as you try to connect to your switch to see if there are any denied connections?

Hi Dani,

if the Cisco switch is on the internal network than the network ID 172.16.0.0/24 used by it should obviously be part of your internal network. Why is it not included in your internal network definition?

HTH,
Stefaan
