I'm trying to connect to a URL with no success.
The error message is:
Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The request was rejected by the HTTP Filter. Contact your ISA Administrator.(12217)
IP Address: 192.168.x.x
Server:XXXX
Source: web filter

Under Logging I get:
Destination IP: 192.168.x.x
Destination Port: 8080
Protocol: http
Transport:TCP
Action: denied connection
Rule: All Open
Client IP:192.168.x.x
Source Network: Internal
Destination Network: External
HTTP Method: GET
URL: http://members.harmonyremote.com/../../..

I'm able to login, but when I navigate to this page I get the error.

How would I go about correcting this.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Status: offline 		We had a similar problem. It was caused by a misconfiguration of the IP ranges of the Internal, External, and Perimeter networks.
When I examined the configurations I discovered that there was the potential that the ISA server didn't know how to handle certain domain requests. By cleaning these up, the issue was resolved.

Well i finally got it to work. What I did is I create a new access rule.

Action: allow
Protocols: HTTP
From: Internal
To: External and I created a new URL Set which I
added the URL from my first reply.
Condition: AllUsers

Tom, can you tell me if this is ok what I did

It seems that there is a bug in the http filter dll. Check out this link for a workaround until the next service pack. MSKB

Do you have any rule with HTTP header,signature , URL size limit configured etc?

Status: offline 		I didn't add anything to my HTTP filter and I experience it with a couple of sites too. It may have started when I added ISA 2004 SP2.
