Hi all,

I am running Xchange 2k behind ISA. Exchange works fine in the intranet but I am not able to send or receive mail outside the internal network. I have a domain hosted by an external serice that basically translate my IP to xxx.xxx.com. I am also running DNS on ISA but the DNS is pointing to a .local domain. How can I add an MX record of of my public domain name to my DNS so that I send and receive mail. Right now if I add and MX record it appends the local domain name. By the way I already published xchange through ISA and I am using ISA as SMTP relay.

Thanks!
Sam

Hi Sam,

Can you give some exact details?

What is the actual domain name.

Thanks!
Tom
