Hi, I would like to know if somebody has the setup that we have and the problem we are currently facing.

Our ISA system has an array of 2 servers (Windows Server 2003) in a domain and using WLBS. It uses WebSense filtering and is communicating with a separate WebSense Server, that is also in the domain. The setup that we have is that you can access Internet using your domain login so that is a transparent proxy authentication by user id. Internet browsers are configured to proxy to a virtual IP of the 2 servers.

Problem that we are facing is that if a user that is not authorized to access an Internet site, the hit is still being logged under WebSense but is being denied by ISA server. Even an html email in Outlook, user does not get the pictures but only X instead, this is still being logged by WebSense.

Is there any configuration to be adjusted so that un-authenticated users won't be logged in WebSense? Meaning, any request fron un-authorized users gets rejected by ISA immediately and ISA must not forward the request to the Websense server so it won't be logged.

Any help is appreciated.
