Afternoon Folks

I was kinda hoping that someone could explain a grey point for me in regards to secure site/port 443 proxy function of ISA2004...

Our current setup is a ISA 2004 STD (SP2) running on a W2k3 STD SP1 Server. 3 leg setup, NIC1 Internal IP, and NIC 2 DMZ IP. Internal Clients use ISA for Web Proxy/DHCP function only. ISA was upgraded (via clean install) from ISA 2000. Internal clients DO NOT connect to perimeter clients i.e. we don't have any DMZ HTTPS servers!

When we installed ISA2004 initally we had massive problems with IE users being unable to connect or use external secure sites, but firefox user where fine. I unabled TLS v1.0 support in IE and this made a difference. I still have some issues with IE and external secure sites..

Question, should the tick box for Server->Config->Network-> Internal Properties -> Web Proxy-> "Enable SSL" be turned on for web clients wishing to connect to external secure sites via the ISA?

Currently only Server->Config->Network-> Internal Properties -> Web Proxy-> "Enable HTTP" is configured and its running on port 80.

When I turn this option on it asks for a certificate. I've had a look through the site and can see several posts about people importing certificates to the isa when they are having problems connect to dmz secure sites but all our users are doing is connecting to external secure site (.i.e internet banking pages, online shopping etc..)
