isa 2006 setup with vpn client access. vpn clients are set to get dhcp from internal which happens to be 10.x.x.x address scheme. everything has been running fine for a few months then suddenly started getting "ISA server detected routes through the network adapter INTERNET which do not correlate to the network which it belongs" and the vpn clients were getting a 169.x.x.x address. And of course users were having issues accessing network resources. After looking through everything to look for changes "which I had not made any" I decided to stop then start the remote access service which cleared the problem and then vpn users started getting a 10.x.x.x address again and everything worked just fine.

My question is does anyone have an idea why this might have happened? Why restarting remote access service corrected it? Is something possibly configured wrong? As I mentioned everything has been running just fine for a few months now.

Thanks!
