I have built ISA 2004 and my clients automatically connected to the Server for web browsing.
1: How did they connect automatically
and

2: How do I disconnect them?

Many thanks

John,

1.      When you did the ISA installation, did you configure DHCP or DNS for Automatic discovery and enable Auto discovery publishing on the Internal Network, Auto Discovery properties tab?
2.      Did you install the Firewall client and configure the Internal Network, Firewall Client properties tab by enabling the Firewall client and configuring the Automatic configuration script?
This is how,

To remove, you can remove the DNS/DHCP entries, Create Group Polices in AD, create access rules to deny access or edit the Internal network properties as mentioned above and modify the settings.
