Hello.
We have a problem reaching the site http://www.erestaura.com .

We get the error-message:

Explanation: The request timed out before the page could be retrieved.

Error Code 64: Host not available
Background: The gateway or proxy server lost connection to the Web server.

We page contains asp so maybe this is a point. I also want to mention that we use the GFI-Tools and faced some problems concerning GFI in the past. We made a scan-exclusion for the site and also opened the page to all (unauthenticated) users. Still the same problem.
Other asp-pages seem to work fine (e.g. https://secure.icicidirect.com/trading/equity/trading.asp).
In our test environment (ISA2004 without update/hotfixes) the problem is not reproducible, everything works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

greetings, grim

hello again,
it seems that i could reproduce the problem in the test-environment, too. First tests were made with an unpatched ISA-installation, after adding SP2, hotfix 916106 and running a vb-script for manipulation of the mtu-size (recommended and sent from ms-support for another porblem) it seems that even in the test-environment the problem occures.

ok, seems that the problem is sp2. tried with a fresh install and after adding sp2 the problem occures again. does anyone else has the problem too or knows about the problem/a workaround?

Hello.
Can someone with an equal configuration reproduce this problem?

hello again.
found the solution:
it seems that the problem is a bug in the implementation of the Web Filter "Compression Filter". If you deactivate this filter the site is reachable.
