Hello

I have a windows server 2003 ISA 2000 enterprise server. I would like to upgrade this to ISA 2004 - however the only version realease by Microsoft is the "Standard" version of ISA 2004. Is this a support migration path and do I lose anything by going from enterprise to standard?

Hi OMR,

That is correct. You won't be able to migrate the settings from the enterprise version to the SE of the ISA firewall. However, you will be able to when the EE of the ISA firewall becomes available.

Same issue here! I wonder, if there isn't a free tool, which can export ISA 2K EE settings into XML and import it into ISA 2K4 Standard. To wait for ISA 2K4 isn't that option :-)

i just asked the last support person i talked to at Microsoft when i had an OLD isa problem.. and he said ISA2004 Enterprise edition probably wouldn't be out until January 2005.
