When I check the logs the user name shows up as "-". is there a way to get the actual username to show up?

Hi Andy,

Configure the clients as Web Proxy and Firewall clients.

Tom,

thanks for the reply.

I was already using both. I found that I had to change the Firewall rule to apply to "All authenticated users" instead of "all users" Now i'm getting domain/username in the log instead of anonymous.

Hi Andy,

Great! Good to hear you got it working.

Note that only the Web Proxy clients would show up an anonymous; Firewall clients always send credentials.
