Dear TOM,
first of all thanks for your posts on branch office VPN.

I am facing problems with the client machines on the remote network.
they doen not seem to be obtaining the IP address from DHCP.

my Config is

Main Office
DC = 10.0.0.2 which is also CSS /DNS /DHCP
FW = 10.0.0.1/24 ----Int ---DNS=10.0.0.2
     = 202.189.X.X/24----Ext

Branch Office
BranchFW= 20.0.1.1/24 --- INT ---DNS= 10.0.0.2
               = 192.168.3.5/24 ----EXT

Now the basic connectivity is established & Both BranchFW and DC can talk to each other
but the clients on the BranchFW cannot get IP ( 20.0.1.X)

can you please guide me where i am giong wrong?

HI,

Where does the DHCP Server located, in the Main office on another box other than ISA?

If so, then in the ISA Server RRAS, install the DHCP Relay Agent and create an Access Rule.

DHCP Request From Branch Office Network To DHCP Server "Object"
DHCP Reply Fromt DHCP Server To DHCP Branch office Network.

Hi Habibalby,

thanks for your reply,
infact one of my branch office is using RAAS (W2K3) , to connect to my main office.
I found the problem & resolved it .....was wrong subnet mask in the static address poll ....corrected it & wow branch office got connected....

Thanx for updating how the problem Resolved. I think it's better to edit the Subject with a Tagged [Resolved] so, it will be easy for others when they search for a simiilry issue, they get the answer fast.
