We have ISA Server in a Cisco PIX managed DMZ and it has been running as a webproxy. I am now trying to use OWA 2003 reverse web publishing.

The conclusion I have come to is ISA server is absolutely useless when configured with a single card as you can only use the "Internal" network for firewall rules which means you can't mix reverse web publishing with a web proxy as the rule is open and allows internet users to acccess the web proxy on port 80.

I am also having problems getting OWA to work, I have followed both the guide on this site and Microsoft's but I am getting some traffic through ok and some denied.

Is there anything different you need to do on a single card'd isa server 2004?

Hi Gee,

I agree. For the most part, a single NIC ISA firewall is useless. I don't run into many firewalls of any type that provide much security with a single NIC.
