From the ISA Server management console I edit the Browser settings for my network by checking Bypass Proxy for Web Servers in this network. I have a list of servers under Directly Access these servers or domains. To my understanding, when these settings are applied, they should update the firewall client and show up in the Proxy settings of my IE, however they are not.

I have tested making other changes (i.e. changing the firewall client to auto detect and then back on the ISA mgmt. console, then testing that it changed my IE settings. It does) so am puzzled as to why this doesn't work for me.

Any suggestions?

How long have you waited for checking if the changes made the desired effect?

I made the changes Tuesday. I've also rebooted my computer several times and the ISA server once (Wednesday 12/01/04). I've also uninstalled/reinstalled my FW client and get the same result.
