Hi All,
Just bought ISA 2004.I have several VLANS set up that are accessed via A VRPE interface gateway of 10.1.1.254, each VLAN also has a VRPE gateway of its own. 10.X.1.254. How do I treat those VLANS in ISA? Should I set them up as different networks or one big network with subnet objects?

You know I've been posting about vlan setups here for a while and all my post go ignored. This is what I think lets say you have 4 vlans set up they have subnets 192.168.1.0, 192.168.2.0, 192.168.3.0, 192.168.4.0. You would have to go into the routing table on the isa 2004 box and enter persitent routes to each subnet. Is this what your asking or not?

I have similar situation. I have a Layer 3 switch with five VLANs and each one is subnetted out. I connected the ISA's DMZ interface to one VLAN(subnet), summarized the subnets at the ISA and created routing statements in both ISA and L3 switch. I am not running RIP on my switch. But if you have 802.3Q tagging(meaning VLAN's span multiple switches), it may require special configration (just my guess). HTM

Hi All,
Has everyone found an answer about the VLAN configuration. As I have a similar problem. What I need to have is access to a VLAN which houses our Cisco CallManager Servers.
I have try setup the option of adding information into the route table but I have found that ISA will go and check to see if it can found that VLAN. The configuration of the DMZ VLAN doesn't know or is allow to access the CallManager VLAN as it seat on a different Gateway, i.e. the DMZ is on the Router and the ISA Internal NIC is on a L3 Switch. As we all know there can only be one default gateway.
I thought about setting up different Network Set for the Vlans but there is no option to tell it about the other gateway which contains the CallManager VLan configuration.

Yes you can only have one gateway, but route statements can be used to route traffic to other interfaces.
