I need ot know how to improve the performance of my VPN-VPN link. I have a branch office that now has ISA 2006 installed with IPSEC/L2TP VPN connection to the main office connected through 5Mb DSL. Server is also Domain COntroler, DHCP and DNS server.

My problem is that since I installed it, users are complaining that the connectivity is much slower then it used to be. They are using RDP to connect to the main office terminal server.

I am aware that having a DC takes a lot of bandwith, but maybe I missed something in the configuration that might improve performance.

And at last, is PPTP much faster.
