Hello all ..

I have a one way satellite (VPN) connection , as you know the one way service needs an ADSL or Dial-up service to use it for upload process so i use for that a limmited 3GB ADSL Line , i treid to upgrade my ISA2000 to ISA2004 and i defined the rules and every thing its worked good but later i descovered that ISA2004 used the ADSL line for the download process not only for upload and i cant continue with that while i have a limmited 3GB ADSL for upload , so please provide me the proper way to install ISA2004 that use just the VPN connection to make download not the both lines. please include all the settings from A to Z .

From the information I'd say you are in South Africa. I must comment on the 3GB limit that is a joke.

I have a similar problems and have left my SAT clients on the ISA2000 or implemented a dedicated VPN router for the SAT on another server. Initailly I had the VPN connection running through dialup with ISA2004 but it proved to be unreliable.

Depending on your requirements an additional ADSL account costs less than the SAT so it may be worth your while, that is if 6GB will be enough. I have heard on uncapped ADSL accounts for about 3 times the price left me know if you want the contact info.

Hello Ron

first my location is Jordan not South Africa , second 3GB is the limit on the ADSL line not on the satellite line, her in jordan its more worth to connect using an ADSL line for upload and a satellite for download because the limited 30GB here costs about $900 , but with the one way satellite the total cost is about $500 without a limit on the download , its realy worth specially for the internet cafe's. thanks for your comment
