I run internal CA servers, have VPN Site-to-site tunnel using pre-shared key. When I attempt connection from internal machine, Oakley log shows no response from peer - network monitor shows no activity on external adapter. As soon as I test from ISA server I see VPN site-to-site system policy in logging section and network monitor on external network. After this the internal connection works. How can I force the internal connection attempt to establish the connection?

Hi DB,

The site to site VPN connection should start automatically when the ISA firewall starts.

Thanks, I had to add a static route (RRAS)specifying destination IP (public), Mask 255.255.255.255 and the gateway on our ISP's router. Also selected one (my VPN endpoint) of two external adapters. Now it works fine from internal systems.
