Hello,

I am running SBS2003 with ISA2004.  I have a public website on the SBS box and am using a host header for that public site.

I recently installed Sourcegear Vault, a programmer version control program.  I now need to allow a couple of offsite programmers in to access the Vault site which is located on port 8888 of the SBS box.

How do I set up an ISA2004 rule to give the offsite programmers access to the Vault site on port 8888 of the SBS box without opening port 8888 to the world?  Do I have to set a host header name in IIS for the Vault site?

Please be as specific as possible with the instructions on how to accomplish the above.

Thanks,

TFISHER

Assuming it is a web based thing and runs as a "web site" then you would just publish it as another "web site" and distinguish it with Host Headers as you are doing now.  But keep in mind that HTTP can run over 8888 but SSL would be problematic,...SSL would also require a different IP# if there is already something using SSL on the first IP#.
