Hi

I have configured My PC as secureNAT, and defined the DNS and Default GW at my pc set to our Server that has AD installed.

I have defined the DNS at the server to forward requests to our ISA server, and set the default GW at the Server set to be ISA Server IP.

Now, the internet browsing at my pc is working but very slow !. Any Idea? There is a great delay before the page start coming.

Hi Karmi,

Did you configure the DNS server correctly on the ISA firewall as a caching-only DNS server?

Hello,

Thanks, it was the DNS on the ISA server who caused this delay. It worked now.

But could you help me in the other problem I have, which is I could not make the Macintosh to access Files on the Windows 2003 running ISA 2004. It was working with ISA 2000, and stopped once I have upgraded to ISA 2004.

How to configure PC as SecureNAT client? why need to be Secure NAT client?

I found from the Monitoring --> sessions, when user login, it will create 2 session which is Web Proxy and another is SecureNAT, why?

Is there a need to create the DNS server (as mentioned from the reply above) at ISA 2004 server?

Actually, in my environment, i have DNS server which is separated from my ISA server. I only registered my ISA IP address with that DNS server. Will this slow down the Internet browsing connection?
