I would like to setup ISA 2004 behind our router and allow WAN users to access our internal network resources (AD, Web, and file servers. Do I have to publish the servers in order for them to access the servers?

Example: WAN --- Router --- ISA --- Internal

Hi Tony,

Yes, Web and Server Publishing rules allow inbound access to ISA firewall Protected Network resources.

Or, you can use VPN -- just make sure to terminate the VPN at the ISA firewall!

HTH,
Tom

Thanks Tom,

I have one more question. How would I publish multiple mail servers?

P.S Can I get an express copy of your book.
