Hi All
We are using ISA 200 Firewall. We have installed WSUS 2.0 with SP1 in the internal network inside the Firewall for Automatic Update of all the Machines in our network.
The WSUS Server is synchronizing with Microsoft Updates OK but whenever Updates are available the WSUS Server is not able to download through the Firewall.
What settings we have to do on our firewall to allow updates to be downloaded.
Please help regarding the settings.

You open WSUS Server, on the Synchronization option, proxy server, insure that on the use proxy server when synchronizing is check, and type isaserver as a server name and port of proxy server

Hi,

Are you using other add-ins for ISA 2006?
Try to disable them in the Add-Ins WebFilters.
Some Virus/Spyware add-ins give trouble.

In my case McAfee SecurityShield gave the trouble...

This in reply to the first reply to my query. The settings are already done accordingly. But Synchronization is happening and then the required downloads are not getting downloaded through ISA Firewall (ISA 2000). What settings are to be done on ISA.
Regarding the second answer we are not using ISA 2006.

Anybody help?

Hi,

We have ISA 2006 and SecurityShield 1.0 Patch5
We also have problems with WSUS 3.0
WSUS is seeing the updates but can't download them. (Only if you disable the WebProxy Add-In it can)

McAfee is working on a hotfix for this!
