Morning all. Thought I would drop a quick post on before I start trawling the previous posts to see if anyone has any ideas.
I have two remote site both with the same model of WatchGuard (Firebox X5 Edge). When I initialy set the VPN's up on Friday they both came up with no problems and I could ping merrily across the connections. However, when I came in on Monday morning one of the connections would no longer respond to any traffic sent over the link. I checked IPSEC Monitor and the connection was still up ?? I have since deleted and re-created the VPN that was failing and still have the same problem. The connection are up according to both the WG and IPSEC Monitor but no traffic will flow across the VPN. If I monitor the Logging from that subnet I can see all the connections initiate for the various traffic and the assocaited 'allow' rules but still no responce. Also, on 'session' tab, when monitor that VPN site, I can see Servers/ Workstations trying to make connection but they just flash up and then disappear after 5 secs or so.
The other site is functioning without fault and all settings are identical.
Any idea's?
