I installed ISA 2004 last weekend, and I was testing my application to go out to Internet. However, I found a problem with mi webcam, using MSN Messenger. With ISA 2000 I can use it, but ISA 2004 webcam can not establish connection with other client.

Is it necessary to create a rule using a specific port? What is that port?

Thank you!

Hi Frederico,

I don't know how you got it working with the 2000 ISA firewall, because neither the 2000 nor the 2004 ISA firewall supports SIP.

HTH,
Tom

In that case, am I unable to establish connection with other webcam if I am using ISA 2004?

I am using MSN Messenger 6.2, and I had connection with other webcams when I am using ISA 2000.

any recommendation?

That's neat. I had to set-up my ISA server to allow me to Web-Cam on MSN 6.2 Grant you .. My set-up is for testing and my not be best set-up for a work enviroment. But here is the "Current" rules.

Allow All outbound from internal to External.
Allow all outbound from Internal to Local Host
Allow all outbound from Local Host to Internal

As I don't use the cam very often, I have not checked the logs to see what ports are really being used. But my web-cam is working now with MSN 6.2 Messenger
