Hi,
I have strange problem, Internet browsing is allowed for both Internal and Localhost at the same Access Rule. Internal users can browse internet with no problem, but localhost cannot, instead we get the following message
Error Code: 403 Forbidden. The ISA Server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). (12202)
When I uncheck the "web filter" in the access rule, Localhost can browse internet, although nothing is defined in the filter, all are default settings.
What caused the web filter disallow browsing on the locahost and allow it on the internal network?
Thanks

Hi Karmi,
Have you created an access rule that allows you to reduce security by allowing the firewall to browse the Web?

Hi,
Yes, I have created a rule to allow the ISA Serbver to Browse the web. When I configure IE6 to use proxy on port 8080 it works, but when I remove the proxy definition it does not.!
Thanks

You have to have a isa rule allowing the localhost access to your external or internal DNS servers. Assuming you have done that. You need to allow all extention types in the http filter, as dynamic pages tend to throw ISA for a loop
