Hi : I went thru your Dr. Schinder's book & the 2 Tutorials on How to publish Web Servers behind ISA. It definitely help me. Finally, I can browse the Web Site residing on the ISA Server. The default page is in C:\InetPub\wwwroot\Default.Htm as defined in the IIS 5.0. PROBLEM : When I change the contents of the default.Htm page, I still see the old contents of the Default.Htm page, not the current page. I checked and re-checked that the in IIS setting that the Home Directory is C:\inetpub\wwwroot and default page is default.htm. Why I still see the old page? Could it be that the page is store somewhere else? I tried to find it but could not! Have tried to flush out IE and ISA cache but no help. ANybody have an idea? Please help. I AM STUCK! Thanks a bunch! Steven

Hi Steven, The problem is likely related to the contents of the page being cached. Refresh the page. If that does not work, hold down the CTRL key and click the Refresh button on the browser. If that does not work, hold down the CTRL and and press the F5 key. HTH< Tom ------------------ Tom Shinder http://www.isaserver.org/shinder/ Get it Here!

Hi Dr. Shinder : Thanks for your reply. Seems to work but I have to press several times before it works. Which software's cache is not refreshing? ISA or Client IE? When I press Ctrl & Refresh, am I flushing out the Client PC's cache? Normally I noticed, when I hit the refresh command, it should refresh the page with latest contents easily. How come it is happening with ISA server? Any patch or update for this. I find that the CacheDir.Exe is usefull. Any comments, Dr. Shinder or anyone! Thanks Steven

Hi Steven, I've done a little more paying attention to this, because there are some pages on amazon that I look at frequently It seems that if I click the refresh button or do CNTL+F5, it refreshes the local cache. If I hold down the CTRL+Refresh button, then it refreshes the content on the ISA Server cache. I wish I had some solid documentation on this, but this is how its been working for me.
