Hi,

I have a web publishing rule defined for the ISA 2004 DMZ and can connect to the site internal with no issues.
However when I connect to the website externally I cannot connect in the same manner.

I am using IP to connect to the server at this stage as a test before registering a domain name.
When I enter the address internally I enter http://DMZIP when I enter http://EXTERNALIP I end up with a blank page.
but if I enter http://EXTERNALIP/index.html it loads the wbsite.

The IIS server has a the home directory set to a location on it's local disk "A directory located on this computer".
Is there anything I need to do to ensure that the IIS and ISA direct the webpage to the default page by just entering the IP Address?
NB. I have also defined the index.html in the default documents list.

Many thanks in advance for anyones assistance.
Blair
