Hello ISAServer Community,

We are using ISA2000 and have a default FQDN (site.co.uk)to publish websites. We redirect requests onto our LAN IIS webserver1 (/homepage/*) using destination sets and web publishing.

However, we would now like publish a second webserver2 for testing purposes using the same FQDN and the same destination sets. We need to use the same web publishing rules but point to a different server against the one in live environment.

Eg. Live http://site.co.uk/homepage/ takes you to Webserver1. Destination is set as FQDN being site.co.uk and path is /homepage/*. This Works fine.

Test http://site.co.uk/webserver2/homepage/takes you to webserver2. I have the destination sets here with FQDN as site.co.uk and path as /webserver2/homepage/.
This Errors out (404 Not Found - The requested item could not be located. (12028)
Internet Security and Acceleration Server).

How can we achieve this?

Thank you for any suggestions.

Regards,
Jim

The request is making it to the web server, but it has to have a /webserver2 virtual directory to work right now.

You can use the PathMappingEditor.hta tool (in the Program Files\Microsoft ISA server directory) to make it work the way you want.

See Hotfix to Permit URL Path Redirection in Web Publishing Rules for an example. Since you, most likely, have SP2 installed, all you need to do is configure the PathMapping tool.
