Hi,

I have installed ISA Server 2004 sp2 and configured as follows .
My ISA Server machine has got two NIC,external Public IP 205.x.x.x,DG 205.x.x.1 and internal ip 10.0.0.1 with no gateway configuratuion.

Now,I have  a web server ready and I need to publish it externally only via HTTPS and internally it has to be available through HTTP/HTTPS.

Which means, I would want to access the same externally via
https://205.x.x.x/webserver and internally it would be http://10.0.0.15/webserver

Will that be possible by configuring something at ISA level ?

Please Advice.

Thanks in Advance ,

Ramie

Hi Ramie,

Yes It's possible but not without a FQDN common name! Using IP's will not work. Please take a look at the below articles:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/isa/2004/plan/digitalcertificates.mspx

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/isa/2004/plan/tscerts.mspx

The most important thing to keep in mind is that the FQDN common name must match for both internal and external client access when bridging SSL to the published server. If they don’t, you’re going to have problems. DNS support is crucial for proper operation. Configuring a “Split DNS”  is a way to solve the issues.
