Hi,

Our Customer has got a 3 homed base ISA Server in Firewall mode. IP Packet Filter is enabled, and working properly. We use the public IP address in the DMZ, and server publishing with Packet Filter is working properly from DMZ. The LAT doesn't contains the DMZ zone! Unfortunetly the Web Publishing isn't working from Internal network. I set correctly the Incoming Web request and the port seemed to listen according to the netstat, but we cannot access the server.
If I added an extra packed filter enabling the communication the problem solved. According to my knowledge this should be work without extra packet filter rule.
Could anybody help me about this problem? Thank you very much.

Hi Zoltan,

You are correct. If you are publishing a server on the internal network, you do not need to create a packet filter to support the Web Publishing Rule. The Incoming Web Requests listener already opens port 80 for you.
