Web Publishing nightmare - 1.Nov.2005 3:52:00 AM

I have a Web Application installed on a Linux Server on my network. This application
is installed to use port 10001 and also SSL. I am wondering the best way to publish
this. I have web published this as normal, setting Listener on port 80 and then do a
port bridging to port 10001 and 443.

This works if I do not configure a client as web proxy client internally but if i
set up the client as web proxy, it does not work. I am also unable to log on to
this web application from outside the network.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jameson,

Good news. Internal clients should NOT be looping back through the ISA fireall to access internal servers. Configure them to use direct access to access internal servers and use a split DNS if necessary.

HTH,
Tom

Thanks Tom.

The other question is how do I publish this to be accessed on the internet.

Thanks.
