I work for this company and I did set up an Isa server2004 by just looking at train signal videos and articles. It was okay till last week but now all users are complaining it takes too long to open the web page. Today it was not even opening the pages at all but I restarted services a few time and got it working but very slow.
Any idea guys..?

Problems with DNS and/or the 'Path MTU' problems are two issues that come to mind...

Run the ISA Best Practice Analyser to check for the Path MTU issues.

Do some manual lookups at various point in your topoligy with 'nslookup' to see if DNS is repsonding as it should...

Cheers

I have tried tracert from one of the users machine it comes up host unreachable. I tried changing Dns but still no difference as soon as you click on Internet Explorere it thinks detecting proxy setting for about 40 to 50 seconds.

Right, so web browsing is not slow once the proxy is found, but the proxy autodetect feature when you start IE is? How is IE configured? Are you using WPAD?

Have you tried manually defining a proxy server - does this fix the problem?

Cheers
