I have a web site being published externally.  There has been a problem where intermittantly the web request will get an error.  Looking at the ISA monitor, it appears that Destination IP address is sometimes resolving to the internal IP address (which works) and other times the external IP address (which always fails).  What or where determines how an original request is translated to an IP address that the web services can then recognize?
Thanks.

DNS (or a hosts file)

How do you have your DNS configured?
Sounds like you have a external DNS server configured on the ISA interface?
