We have started hosting a website for a client on our IIS webserver which is in the DMZ 10.177.1.123 the site is accessible for the domain abc.com externally without any issues after the DNS changes were made.

As far as I can see the A record for the domain points to 194.XXX.XXX.XXX which is an IP that our PIX is using and redirecting to the webserver.

Internally when I ping abc.com I get 194.XXX.XXX.XXX reply however the site does not display internally, I am using ISA 2000 as a proxy, is there something I am missing? should my internal clients use the Webservers DMZ ip address (10.177.1.123)

Any ideas will be appreciated

You need a split DNS! (everyone does).

Check out the articles on split DNS on this site on how to solve this problem.

Tom
