OK - it took me ages to work out why my AXIS webcam would not FTP up a regular image to a website and finally worked out it was because I had IP Routing enabled.

Is this a known problem? I put IP Routing on because I read in 'the book' that it helps throughput of SecureNAT clients.

Should I leave IP Routing off, or should I be able to sort this FTP upload problem out with it turned on?

Sounds to me like it's a Webcam problem and not a ISA problem.

What might happen is the following:

1. Webcam tries to FTP on a strange port OR in a invalid way.
2. IP Routing tries to solve the problem but can't.
3. Webcam gets NO 'reply' that it isn't working.

If you disable IP routing, the last step is the difference. The Webcam gets a 'reply' and tries it in another way and gets a connection.

Try and enable IP Routing. And scan the IPxxxxxx log file for strange ports/packets being blocked. My guess is you will find the aswer there.
