Have built a new ISA 2006 enterprise box to migrate to from our old isa 2006 std box.

Old box has surfcontrol on it which has been less that stable recently.

New box has websense on it.

Everything seems to be working sweet on the new box other than this one issue.

When i logon as administrator (domain) this use never seems to authenticate to ISA and remains as a web proxy session and an anonymous user.

As its an anonymous user the websense policies don't get applied and all traffic from that user is blocked.

If i logon as a different user who is a member of the domain admins group they work fine.

So i can only assume that there is some policy rule in affect with ISA that only affects the domain admin user.

How do i find it?

I have looked down all the rules and the system policy rules that relate to http and none of them mention domain admin user at all, most of them seem to be authenticated users anyway.

NB, a little item of interest.

If i disable the websense plugin then the isa session for domain administrator shows up as authenticated......#$(*

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have used the ISA User Check Tool mentioned in some of the other posts here and the domain administrator account does not report any additional access rules allowed to what the normal members of the domain admins group have.

So essentially, the account that works and the account that doesn't both have the same access rights.
