Hi guys! I have a weird SSL problem with ISA Server 2006. I have a web published website that works as expected inside the firewall (on our LAN). When you enter the site as http and access the login page, it changes to https and the SSL certificate is there and everything is ok. However, if the same website is accessed from the outside (having to pass through ISA) things behave in a strange way. If I access the home page of the website as http and try to login, it seats forever when it has to change from http to https to reach the login page. However, if I try to access the login page directly with https it works with no problem at all. The certificate is properly installed in ISA, otherwise the https request would fail. Everything is installed ok on the website, otherwise it wouldn't work on out LAN. Why would this fail on a http to https "redirect"? (I'm not sure it is indeed a redirect request because the website was written in ASP.NET by someone else). Do you have any clue for this problem? Again, inside our LAN it works as expected. It must be ISA Server configuration messing around but I can't find a reason. Please let me know. Thanks!!! fsantos

This sounds like you have a listener & rule handling HTTP and HTTPS at the same time. Try disabling Link Translation and see how things behave.
