Both my website and mail are hosted by vendors and outside my control. I want to bring control of my domain's email in-house. I have Exchange 2003 on Server 2003 behind ISA 2004. I have another server that I want to use as an SMTP relay with spam filtering. When I request the MX record change to point to me, which IP address do I use? Do I use the external IP of the ISA server, the IP of the SMTP relay, or the IP of the Exchange server?

Hi Brian,

The MX record should point to the primary IP address on the external interface of the ISA firewall.

HTH,
Tom
