Is it mainly a firewall?
I'm asking this, because i only want to use it as a web proxy, and want to disable all firewall and filtering rules. But i can't find how to do this.

Hi there,

Yes, ISA is mainly a firewall, with the added bonus of web proxying capability.

Many people use it only as a caching web proxy, however, with the extra defence of a secure environment.

If you really want to disable all firewall functionality, then you can create an "Allow All" rule that allows all protocols from Anywhere (default computer set) to Anywhere. This will open everything up, and will probably generate some flame on this thread!
