Hello everybody,

I want Firewall clients autodetect ISA Server so I read many many posts here ,i tried some solutions but no luck.

so,I need to know what is WPAD?,where to find it?
cuz I put a CNAME entry in DNS but I can't ping it,I serach for the file wpad.dat and I didn't find it.

Can anyone help me step by step to configure autodetect

Hi,

==> The First step : Create the DHCP 252 scope option and add it to the scope or/and creating the wpad entry in DNS.
==> The second step : configure ISA Firewall to publish autodiscovery information (in the internal properties, check box Publish auto discovery information.

Get the new book "ISA Server 2004" to explain the concepts and step by step instructions.
