When users log in after passing through ISA they get the folder list, toolbars, and then just "Loading...." in the middle of the screen.. none of the toolbar buttons work, neither does log off..

ISA is part of the domain; I've set up SSL & listeners which require authentication; however even when using FBA the same thing happens.

There's no problem at all if I access it from within the Exchange subnet - i.e., without going through the ISA. I thought at first it might have been something to do with Integrated windows Authentication but I turned that off and just used FBA over SSL and exactly the same problem...

Even without using any listeners and simply ROUTING the requests to the Exchange server screws this up.. so it's not even a publishing issue. I've read through the problems here:
http://www.ntcompatible.com/OWA_2003_Not_Completely_Loading_t26855.html and
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=280823
without any progress..

Would welcome any suggestions...

Cheers
Andrew

Hi AC,

Make sure your config closely follows the principles discussed in this article:

Have you tried adding the OWA web site to your trusted sites list in IE? Then hit Ctrl F5 to do a proper refresh.

adelphi,

Thanks for the suggestion but yes, in fact it's in the Local Intranet zone.

Barin,

The clients are all Win2003 Server and OWA works flawlessly if accessed directly, i.e., from inside the ISA server.

Tom,

I do have a few settings that are different, so I I have changed them so that they are identical to your walkthrough; the problem is still present however even with the new settings.

Any ideas on what I might try?

Is the www service running on the ISA server? If so, stop it, and try OWA again.

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for the suggestion but no, there's no WWW service even present, let alone running.
