Hi there.
Our server 2003 DHCP gives out the LAN side of our NAT router as the gateway for the network. We've now installed ISA 2004 and give out the LAN side of that as the router/gateway. Is that the proper procedure? When you run "netdiag" now you get a "[FATAL] NO GATEWAYS ARE REACHABLE" error message.

What is best practice in this situation?

Hi Travel,

The NAT device must have NO connectivity to the network behind the ISA firewall.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure I understand what you are saying completely. Our current system is like this:

Router WAN 1 public IP address 82.*.*.125

Router LAN 192.168.0.1
ISA WAN other public IP address 192.168.0.2

ISA LAN 10.1.1.10
Server 10.1.1.1

DHCP gives out in the Scope options:
003 Router 10.1.1.10

plus the regular time/dns/wins info.

Does that look right to you?
