Hi all,
I've been wondering how to setup ISA firewall to work in INTEGRATED mode in the following situation.
Suppose you have site A with IP range 10.3.1.x, default router is 10.3.1.1. There is a watchguard firewall at address 10.3.1.2 which has an external IP. Now we'd like to add an ISA server to this, using internal ip 10.3.1.3... I understand the importance of using 2 NIC's, but how can one implement this in this situation?
And no, we do really really want to install in integrated mode, not just caching and we do not want to get rid of the other firewall.
Is this possible?
Thanks for any input.
Regards, Ronny.

Hi Ronnie,
This would be a parallel firewall configuration, where the Watchguard and the ISA firewall both have public and private NICs.
HTH, Tom
